A Winterthur Gardens Proposal & Engagement Session
The story
When Sam told me he was planning to surprise Mackenzie with a proposal, we started brainstorming locations of what felt like them and settled on Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library in Delaware. To get Mackenzie to the spot, I asked her to model for some portfolio photos at Winterthur. Little did she know Sam had tagged along with me and was waiting anxiously for her to arrive!
Mackenzie and I wandered for a bit and then I sent her on a little walk around a small pond so I could get some "wider shots." And guess who waiting there — Sam! She was completely shocked.
After she said yes, we spent the rest of our time together wandering around Winterthur Gardens and taking engagement photos throughout the property.
