Military Celebrations

Hiring a professional photographer for your military celebration is one of the easiest ways to eliminate stress from your day. Spending this time with a phone in hand is far from ideal — it pulls you out of the celebration and hinders you from soaking in the goodness of the day.

Enter, me!
Hi, I’m Grace, and I’m here to help you live in these moments you want to remember. Celebrations like these are once a lifetime and having them captured is worth the investment.

I still have a few questions…

If your question isn’t answered below, please reach out!

  • Totally okay! We all know how the military is with dates constantly fluctuating. Please go ahead and reach out to let me know you’d like me to be a part of your day so I can have your proposal ready when you find out your date! This will speed up the booking process so you’re ready to snag your date when you find out!

  • Yes. I require a non-refundable retainer of 20% of your package cost to secure your date. This retainer can be moved to a new date at no cost if your military celebration date changes.

  • No worries! I know this happens more often than not in the military. I just ask that you let me know asap so I can update my calendar and confirm availability.

  • Heck yeah!! I love when families book me for both the family day airfield and graduation photos. I even offer a discount when you book both! Just mention you’d like to book both sessions when inquiring!

  • I know these moments are so special and you’re dying for the world to see! You can expect to receive a sneak peek gallery within 72 business hours of our time together. The final gallery take 3-4 weeks.

  • I sure do! I have experience photographing Army, Air Force, and Navy ceremonies. I'd love to be a part of your celebration no matter what branch!

  • The first family day happens during common core! You actually get to watch your aviator fly! You also get a chance to climb in a Lakota and look around the aircraft.

The second family day happens the week of flight graduation. Theres no flying involved here, but you get to go to the flight line and climb in the advanced helicopter your aviator has been training in & what they’ll be flying when they leave (Chinook, Apache, Blackhawk, or C12)!

Both are unique in their own ways. Common core takes on a more documentary approach — capturing the flying, the hugs after greeting your person once they land, the loud and windy flight line as helicopter are whirling all around you.

Advanced family day also involves many documentary aspects, but adds a lot more posing and prompting in front of the aircraft as well. Usually there aren’t too many aircraft flying around — sometimes you’ll see one land, but not always.

“I absolutely loved working with Grace. She is down to earth, and makes you feel so comfortable while taking photos. The photos turned out beautiful. Some of my friends who do photography even reached out to tell me how amazing they were. Grace is warm, and she answers any question you have! If I lived in Alabama still, I would hire her again for any event!”

“We chose Grace to photograph our son's military commissioning and the first time our entire family would be together in 7 years and things could not have gone any better! She was so easy to work with online - as we were coming in from 3 states away. Grace was quick to respond to any questions and had great suggestions for what to plan on. The session turned out beautiful and now our family has lasting memories for a lifetime thanks to Grace! You can't go wrong with her!!!”
